The team responsible for the day-to-day administration and events of IAGT.
Role & Responsibilities
The Executive Committee organizes the activities of IAGT and is responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and administration of the Association. The committee has a minimum of nine (9) and maximum of thirteen (13) members.
Each member serves a two-year term with a maximum of two consecutive terms. Elections are held annually, one hour before the Diwali function each fall.
Heads the Executive Committee, serves as Board member, liaises with Embassy and Consulates of India, and leads the Association with conviction and fairness.
Records minutes, distributes meeting notices, prepares annual reports, and maintains the IAGT member list.
Manages financial records, files tax returns, oversees bank accounts, and prepares quarterly financial reports and annual budget.
Coordinate the organization and execution of all IAGT cultural events throughout the year.
